Beginning to understand and learn mindfulness has been one of the most difficult – and potentially – most rewarding things I have ever done!
I live and teach yoga in the Cotswolds and also teach on specific programmes at the Said Business School in Oxford. I have been teaching yoga regularly for 14 years, although I studied for my diploma a few years before that! My approach has evolved over time and currently the focus is on encouraging students to trust themselves, to stay focused and to gently explore their own limits.
For me, mindfulness is about living in the present moment. Mindfulness and yoga are both dynamic disciplines that constantly bring about change; I believe they work in harmony with mindfulness helping to deepen and expand our yoga practice.
