I am a Mindfulness Teacher and Designer, inspired by community, heart and communication. I am also a BWY trained Yoga Teacher and use mindfulness to help infuse the subtler aspects of yoga moment-to-moment. I currently teach in Shoreham-by-Sea, East Sussex.

I first came to meditation 15 years ago and have practiced mainly in the insight tradition. Over that time I have completed a number of silent retreats which have helped transform the way I view the world and my appreciation for the potential we all hold to change and love. I have been practicing yoga for nearly 20 years in a variety of traditions.

I run Unfold Digital where I design, build and collaborate on corporate and creative projects. I have been involved in the design and build of CMI online and manage the development of the site, as well as creating various email campaigns and printwork. I have also had the privilege of working with a number of other mindfulness and yoga teachers on developing their presence online. I have also created the Branding You & Social Media workshops for Yoga professionals.

Mindfulness softens the edges of each moment, opening us up to the possibility of a kinder perspective and more spacious place to be. It allows us to explore the idea that whatever we find is OK to be there and to recognise there is so much more happening. In daily life, it allows me to notice my feet on the ground, the breath in my lungs and the capacity in my heart to open ever more.

What is the importance of professional guidelines such as the UK network’s Good practice Guidelines to you and your teaching?

It’s good to know that as teachers we are supported and encouraged to maintain a high level of training and authentic practice. This in turn helps reassure our students create a fertile space for working.
