I teach gentle Hatha yoga style classes and workshops, which incorporate mindful movement and mindfulness based meditation. My classes are mainly based in South Woodford E18. I also work with The Bromley By Bow Centre in Tower Hamlets, to provide affordable yoga classes for some of their most hard to reach groups.
I have practised yoga for over 15 years, and I am greatly influenced by yoga styles which encourage a sense of ease in the body and the mind. I have always been interested in the relationship between mindfulness and yoga, and feel privileged to be able to offer an integrated approach as Yoga Teacher incorporating mindfulness. Working within inner London, and with vulnerable groups in East London, I am keen to explore in greater depth the stress reducing qualities of mindfulness, as well as its contribution to improving social wellbeing.
I have learnt through my teacher training journey thus far, that mindfulness is a journey in itself which has to be firstly embodied, in order to be shared.
