Mindfulness is a way of being which permeates my life, workshops and yoga teaching. I run practical trainings that cover key areas such as:
– the importance of breath and posture
– improving sleep and quality of life
A yoga teacher since 2003, I have studied and developed skills and experience on a global scale from America and Germany to South Africa.
I now teach in and around London, Surrey, Kent and Sussex. Sessions are tailored specifically for one-to-one, groups or for the corporate powerhouses.
Mindfulness covers many areas key in today’s society and corporate structure:
– self awareness, incorporating resilience and development
– recognising stress, the signs and how to respond to them effectively
– utilising the power of thought and skilfully working with it
– creating cultures where relationships develop
In all my trainings and dealing with people, I want to be able to show how Mindfulness is integrated into my life and yoga classes and how the ensuing positivity, flexibility, creativity can be shared and others enlightened by the workshops, retreats and teachings I offer.
Mindfulness is moment to moment awareness of what is happening in and around us in the here and now. The more we practice it, the more insight we gain into ourselves, and therefore others.
We become aware of emotions arising within us and can respond in a measured way based on reason, rather than being overwhelmed by emotions and reacting from fear, uncertainty or confusion. As we become less susceptible to the emotional rollercoaster, the quality of our decisions improves as does the quality of our life.
